Spate of burglaries in Kempsey

KEMPSEY has suffered a spate of burglaries resulting in valuables and a vehicle being stolen.

A wallet was taken in the first burglary on Highfield, Callow End around midnight on September 9.

Later, on September 12, offenders gained entry to a home on Napleton Lane, Kempsey, burgling the keys to a Mazda CX-30 before stealing the vehicle in the early hours of the morning.

The car has since been recovered by police. It is not known whether the two incidents are linked.

West Mercia Police’s Kempsey and Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team are urging anyone with information to visit https://www.westmercia.police.uk/ and report it.
