STAFF were threatened by callous thieves who stole 11 mobile phones from a Carphone Warehouse outlet in Malvern.

Two men entered the store on the Roman Way retail park between 6.20pm and 6.25pm yesterday (Monday) when they ripped out the phones from the display cabinet.

They then grabbed a member of staff and threatened violence.

One of the men is described as black, about 26 years old, 6ft 3″ tall, of skinny build, with black braided hair and wearing a green Stoneface jacket.

The other man was white, about 25 years old, 5ft 10″ tall, of stocky build, with full facial stubble and wearing a grey hoodie with dark tracksuit bottoms and black shoes.

Sergeant Paul Buffery of West Mercia Police said: “The retail park, and surrounding areas, would have been busy with shoppers yesterday evening.

“We are appealing for anyone who saw the offenders at the retail park, or the way they fled the area.”

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote incident number 0650S 140817.
