STUDENTS at a Ledbury school helped create the centrepiece for a Christmas Eve service at a nearby church.
Pupils from Year 10 resistant materials and art classes designed and made the Christingle orange for St Michael and All Angels Parish Church.
A spokeswoman said: “The service is attended by a large number of families from the town and the Christingle orange with all of its attachments – fruit, sticks, candle etc – is of course the crucial element of the service.
“Our Year 10 students rose to the challenge and created a magnificent Christingle orange that will be used on Christmas Eve and for many years to come.”
