A SCHEME to encourage residents to stop and reflect on the world around them has been launched by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT).
The trust started ‘My Wild Life’ last Tuesday (March 2) to make people think about how nature can play a part of people’s everyday lives.
Wendy Carter, communications manager for the trust, said: “Many studies show that people lucky enough to live near and experience green spaces are mentally and physically healthier.
“The trust is working hard to restore and protect wildlife and wild places across our beautiful county.
“Through My Wild Life we are encouraging people from all walks of life to share their personal stories about what nature means to them.”
Anne Williams, of Malvern Link, added: “It doesn’t matter what time of year it is I love getting outside for a walk.
“There is always something to see or hear and with spring just around the corner it is my release from the man-made noises of everyday life.”
