A YOUNG drumming sensation from Malvern is to make a special appearance on one of the country’s most famous TV shows.
Nine-year-old Roseanna Gray will be on TV screens all over the country tomorrow (Thursday) when she is featured on CBBC show Blue Peter.
The Malvern St James Girls’ School pupil made front page news in the Observer in August last year when she smashed the record for the youngest person to pass a prestigious exam.
Last summer her dad David, who worked nationally as a professional musician, told the Observer: “For her, playing the drums is like a second language.
“She has grown up listening to the drums before she could actually speak. She is worryingly good.”
Blue Peter has been part of the UK’s TV industry since 1958 and is the longest-running children’s TV show in the world.
Thursday’s episode starts at 5pm and will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer soon afterwards.
