A TEENAGE driver broke his collar bone following a collision in Ledbury.
The 18-year-old was trapped in his vehicle for about 45 minutes after it overturned just before 11.05am today (Wednesday) on the A449.
The car was the only one involved and the teenager was the only one in the vehicle.
An air ambulance, paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer and ambulance staff all attended the scene and had to cut the roof off the car.
The driver was also treated for a number of cuts and grazes, which included to his head.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered a car on its side with a man trapped inside.
“Crews acted quickly to assess the 18-year-old man and thankfully were able to determine that his condition was not thought to be life threatening.”
He added they then worked closely with firefighters to carefully free the man by cutting the roof off the car.
He was then taken to Hereford County Hospital
“It is not thought any other vehicles were involved in the incident which did cause the road to be closed,” added the spokesman.
