HUNDREDS of pounds were raised by staff and pupils at The Chase School in recognition of International Women’s Day.
The Geraldine Road school held a non-uniform day and presented a cheque of £875 to Lisa Peplow from West Mercia Women’s Aid which provides invaluable support to victims of domestic abuse across Worcestershire and West Mercia region.
The money will go some way to developing the services they offer.
A Chase School spokesperson said: “A big thank-you to all staff and students for helping to raise this fantastic amount.”
