A series of events took place in Upton to celebrate the occasion, which included street entertainment, novelty bike races, live music, family cycle treasure hunt, Upton Rowing Club Regatta, bike security and best dressed window competition.
Coun David Chambers, leader of Malvern Hills District Council said: “The whole day was a great success for local residents and businesses, with a fantastic atmosphere, and lovely to see so many spectators lining the streets and hills cheering riders on.
“We were really proud to welcome the Tour through our district, and hopefully it will also inspire youngsters to take up sport. We look forward to hosting many more prestigious events in the future”.
