TODAY (Thursday) marks the first anniversary of Malvern Appreciation Day.
Last year, the mayor of Malverne (New York), Patricia Norris-McDonald, declared October 19 would be a day dedicated to all the Malvern’s across the globe.
This was announced during a visit by Cora Weaver and Bruce Osbourne of the Malverns Worldwide project.
As part of Malvern Appreciation Day, the state flag of Pennsylvania, which has its own Malvern, is flying above the district council offices in Priory Park.
