JAZZ and blues are swinging their way back to Malvern this weekend on Sunday, November 7, with the return of the Jazz Club at the Malvern Cube.
Worcestershire based Jazz team Neil, Len and Betty Thwaites were delighted with their first event which marked the return of Malvern Jazz Club’s Jazz, Blues and Swing’ in October.
Fans were treated to the swinging sounds of the ‘Cafe Jazz Orchestra’ at the Malvern Cube.
Treasurer Neil said: “It was a great start for our new set up, with a large enthusiastic crowd of live music fans.
“Nicola and her loyal team at ‘The Cube’ pulled out all the stops to ensure that everyone could relax and enjoy the music.”
Excitement is now growing ahead of their next event this weekend and the performance of ‘Tony’s Tailgate Ramblers’.
Taking to the stage will be top UK Jazz trumpeter Tony Pipkin (Cornet), Zoltan Zagi (Reeds) and Mike Owen (Trombone), Tom ‘Spats’ Langham (Banjo and Guitar), Howard Worthington (Double Bass) and Nick Ward (Drums).
The informal setting will have table seating and a fully licensed bar for all to enjoy the evening.
Doors open at 7pm with session times between 8pm and 10.30pm, and tickets can be purchased at the door only for £10.
