THREE men believed to be involved in the death of a former soldier have been arrested in Ledbury.

Troy Ktori, 27, of Shenstone Road in Edgbaston, has been accused of murdering Charles McInally, who was pronounced dead at a house on Brewers Square in Birmingham about 9.45pm on August 7 after being found with stab injuries. Ktori was also charged with attempted wounding and actual bodily harm after a 30-year-old man was slashed on his hand.

Crystal Jefferies, 30, and Matthew Roper, 24, both of Shenstone Road, have been charged with assisting Ktori.

The trio were arrested on August 12 and have been remanded in custody while they continue to help police with their enquiries.

The 55-year-old Mr McInally, also known as Chic and originally from Scotland, served as a radio communications officer for eight years in the 11 Signal Regiment based in York. He had recently moved to Edgbaston to a new job.

A 30-year-old man who was arrested on August 7 also remains on police bail.
