THE RENOWNED Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra will be performing their latest concert of classical compositions in Malvern on July 1.
The orchestra’s musical director, Keith Slade will conduct renditions of Mozart, Bruch and Mendelssohn, headed by orchestra leader Victoria Lee at Christ Church, Avenue Road, Malvern from 7.30pm.
Solo violinist, Sarah Vernon will accompany the century old orchestra, formed by Sir Ivar Atkins and beloved local composer Sir Edward Elgar in 1906, to perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto.
The concert will also feature Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte Overture and Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony.
Tea, coffee and cakes will be available at the interval. Adult tickets are £15, concessions £12 and children go free.
