A ‘REAL-LIFE’ lost Paddington Bear bought in Malvern appeared on ITV’s This Morning in a bid to find its original owners and to crack a 37 year mystery.

Rubery mum-of-two, Nina Cannon, approached the show because she was curious to find out more about a special message on the back of the bear’s luggage tag telling of an enduring friendship spanning 37 years.

She noticed the message, which states “To my dearest friend and soulmate Simon, for in him is the me that belongs to the us, love Linda”, after buying the famous bear from the Malvern Flea & Collectors Fair three years ago.

Appearing on This Morning on Monday, Philip and Holly put out a plea to the nation to search for Simon and look for Linda.

Nina said: “It is unclear as to how the bear became separated from Simon, I cannot for one minute think that he was given away or sold as the message is clearly one of great sentiment.

“I saw the M&S advert with Paddington in it and thought I have got that bear and I started to think about the message on the back of his tag.

“I got in touch with This Morning because I thought who are Linda and Simon and what happened to them?

“ITV sent a private car to pick Paddington up to take him to London, it has been a very funny situation!”
