A DRUGS warrant executed in Malvern has led to the seizure of cannabis, a machete and several mobile devices potentially used in drug dealing activity.

At a property in Pickersleigh, Malvern in the early hours of this morning (April 14) Malvern’s Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out the warrant with the support of a task force, the local policing priority team and a police search dog.

The raid led to the discovery of cannabis stashed in several locations around the property, including some hidden in a fake dictionary.

A machete and several mobile devices, which will be examined for evidence of drug dealing were also seized.

Two occupants from the address will be interviewed for drug offences once phone analysis has been completed.

Police constable, David Olczak said: “This is the third drugs warrant executed in Malvern in five weeks. We could not carry out these warrants without the assistance of the public.

“The information that we receive from the residents who witness drug dealing activity is key to having a warrant granted by the courts.

“Our local Policing teams spend hours each day on foot patrol, cycle patrol and at drop in sessions engaging with the public and recording intelligence to build a picture of any issues.

“We urge anyone who witnesses drug offences taking place, to report it to the police. We are always happy to be stopped whilst cycling or on foot. “
