A UNIQUE charity concert is to take place in Malvern this weekend to celebrate the beauty of autumn.
The musical event is being held to also raise essential funds for Malvern Special Families as part of the charity’s 30th birthday celebrations.
Entitled ‘Landscapes and Harvest’, the concert takes place on Saturday at St Peter’s Church, Cowleigh Bank, from 7.30pm.
Acapella vocal group ‘Serenata’ will present the evening of music and readings to celebrate autumn’s bounty.
The lively and light-hearted concert offers a range of music from traditional folk songs to the Beatles and includes works by local composers Liz Johnson and Alec Roth.
Sarah Musgrave, a Malvern Special Families trustee, said: “Please join us for a fantastic evening of entertainment and help raise us raise money for a really good cause.
“It would be brilliant to see lots of people from the local community come along and support Malvern Special Families.”
Bella Johnson, a member of the Serenata group, added: “We always enjoy putting on concerts, especially when we can help to support local charities like Malvern Special Families which provides excellent play schemes for local children with disabilities.
“Our audiences can look forward to a very welcoming atmosphere and some choice entertainment including timeless favourites.”
Tickets are available on the door and are £10 per adult, £3 per child.
A raffle and refreshments will also be available on the night.
