UPDATE - Two men charged following multiple Kempsey burglaries

TWO men have been charged for burglary offences following multiple incidents in Kempsey.

Ioan Manolache, 35, of no fixed abode and George Balon, 28, of no fixed abode have both been charged with two home burglaries in the area of Bestmans Lane, Kempsey and Main Road, Kempsey.

Both men have been remanded in custody to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday July, 5.

The charges relate to incidents which happened between June 30 and July 3.

A burglary happened overnight on Friday June, 30 and Saturday July, 1, when offenders broke into a property in Bestmans Lane, Kemspey and stole jewellery and cash. A silver Peugeot was seen driving away on CCTV footage.

A second burglary took place on the morning of Monday July, 3 on Main Road, Kempsey, where a silver Peugeot was also witnessed at the scene.




Later the same day officers intercepted a silver Peugeot in Henwick Road, Worcester and arrested two men on suspicion of burglary.

Some of the items taken were recovered by police who made enquiries in the Jewellery Quarter area of Birmingham in a bid to recover further property.
