UPTON-upon-Severn was bloomin’ with pride as residents showed off floral displays for the annual RHS Heart of England in Bloom.
The event took place outside the Pepperpot, a medieval church tower which dates back to the 13th century, on Tuesday, July 14.
Coun Barbara Williams, chairman of Malvern Hills District Council, also attended the event.
“The displays were so beautiful and vibrant,” she said. “There is such a wonderful community spirit here in Upton and I really hope they do well. I send them all the very best of luck.”
Upton in Bloom is run by volunteers and the town won the gold award in the large village category last year. The results will be announced in September.
