FOR the first time in ten years Upton-upon-Severn Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public.
Between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday, the Minge Lane station will be hosting its free to attend open day which promises to be an entertaining event for all the family.
There will be a wide range of fun-filled activities including fire engine rides, road traffic and chip pan fire demonstrations, displays of water rescue kits as well as a raffle which will raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Visitors will have the chance to have a first-hand look at the impressive equipment and vehicles at the station including the Aerial Lift Platform (ALP) from Worcester Fire Station.
And there will even be the opportunity to ride a fire engine for a donation to the Young Firefighters Association.
Visitors will be able to indulge in some of the tasty treats including cakes and refreshments that will be on sale throughout the day.
