VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run Upton-upon-Severn’s Tourist Information and Heritage Centre.
The centre, based in the historic Pepperpot, provides an important service to visitors to the town.
Malvern Hills District Council, which runs the service, is seeking people with a few hours to spare each week and who like meeting and helping people.
Simon Smith, economic development manager at the district council, said “The centre is open throughout the year to welcome visitors and provides a wealth of information on attractions, events, accommodation and its fascinating history.
“The TIC also helps the local tourism economy, and volunteering at the centre is a great support to tourists, residents and businesses.”
