ONE OF the nation’s biggest vintage tractor events will be held once again at the Three Counties Showground at the end of this month.

A roaring success for the last 15 years, this year’s Spring Tractor World Show is the first major vintage show of the season and a long-awaited and highly-anticipated event for both tractor fans and visitors alike.

Transforming into a vintage tractor utopia on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26, the venue will feature more than 500 tractors and machinery exhibits including classic commercial vans, Land Rovers, horticultural and garden exhibits, stationary engines, model displays and miniature steamers.

Visitors will also be able to see tractors from famous names like Ford, Fordson and New Holland as well as favourites like John Deere.

Spread out over four exhibition halls plus outdoors over the large showground, the event runs from 9am until 5pm on Saturday and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday.

Fans of vintage auctions can head over to the show on Saturday when H.J Pugh and Co will be hosting their famous auction where more than 2,000 items and 100 tractors are expected to be sold.

Then on the Sunday, there is a classic commercial and van drive in display, classic truck show, the annual ‘sort out and spares day’ plus the charity tractor road run into the Malvern Hills.

Show organiser Mark Woodward said: “The show is a great chance for tractor fans, old and young, to enjoy a rare opportunity to see many makes and models.

“Although we are now the largest trade gathering for spares and parts, it’s a family day out with lots for our younger visitors to enjoy too.”

Admission to the event is £12.50 at the gate or £10 in advance. For a weekend pass, it’s £20 at the gate or £15 in advance and visitors can camp for £50 in advance or £60 at the show.

Camping tickets admit two adults to the event, with under-15s gaining free entry.
