TWO sisters are presenting a double violin concert in support of an organ project at a Malvern church where their brother is a scholar.
The 45-minute performance by Lucy and Vicky Colbourne starts at 12.15pm on Sunday, January 28 at Holy Trinity Church on Link Top.
They will be accompanied by their brother Billy on the organ and also by Charles Pavey, the church’s organist and choirmaster.
The organ project at Holy Trinity, called ‘A Vision for a New Sound’, has been running successfully since last autumn.
The current organ is very close to the end of its working life and the hope is to replace it with something more modern.
Mr Pavey said: “The project is about developing and maintaining a credible and challenging standard of music at Holy Trinity, with the organ being very central to this.
“Billy, Lucy and Vicky continue to commit a great deal of time and energy to the music at Holy Trinity, with all of them being long standing members of both the junior and senior choirs.
“Their programme will be contrasting and imaginative.”
