A MAN had to be rescued from the Malvern Hills after suffering a fall.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received calls about the incident at 11.55am on Sunday (November 30).
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were dispatched to the scene.
The walker, believed to be in his 50s, had fallen on the hillside near St. Ann’s Road.
He was treated for a potentially fractured ankle and his leg was fully immobilised using a vacuum splint.
The man was then sent to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.
