Walking tours start in the town

MALVERN residents can view the town’s heritage after walking tours kick-started in the area.

The guided tours, conducted by Malvern Civic Society volunteers, have now resumed and will continue each weekend until September 27.

Walks will take in a range of sights in Malvern with the focus particularly on the Victorian water cure period, Elgar, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens and Florence Nightingale.

They start at the Tourist Information Centre on Church Street at 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday and take about 90 minutes.




Adults can join in for £3 while it is 50p for a child and places can be booked at the TIC or by calling 01684 892289.
