DOG owners have been urged to keep their pets on leads around livestock in Malvern after three sheep were chased by a dog and put under a lot of stress on Sunday (February 25).
Malvern Hills Trust shared the message after the sheep was chased to St Ann’s Well, where fortunately it was kept safe before being collected by the trust’s grazier.
The trust said none of the sheep had visible injuries but would have been extremely stressed by the incident.
The message, asking dog walkers to keep their pets on a lead within the grazing compartments and anywhere near livestock, has been reiterated following the incident.
Dog walkers planning to make journeys through the Malvern Hills can check on the locations of livestock, which is updated weekly.
