Malvern Editorial 28th Feb, 2022   0

DOG WALKERS on the Malvern Hills are reminded to keep their dogs on a lead near livestock after a pregnant ewe needed to be put down after being chased in the area.

The Malvern Hills Trust made the plea and said having dogs controlled keeps grazing cattle and livestock safe.

Currently, some animals are in temporary grazing compartments while others are freely roaming the hills and commons.

Livestock are within temporary electric-fenced compartments can be found in the following locations:

Northern Hills – Cattle on End Hill and sheep on east North Hill.

Central Hills – Cattle on West Perseverance Hill. Sheep off the Hills.

Southern Hills – Sheep in a compartment on east British Camp.

Old Hills – Cattle no longer on the Old Hills
