Will you be taking part in this year's Malvern in Bloom?

Malvern Editorial 11th Jun, 2019

RESIDENTS are being urged to have their green fingers at the ready this summer when the ‘Malvern in Bloom’ competition returns.

This year’s theme is ‘The Use of Water’ and creative people are challenged to incorporate it into their garden anyway they wish.

There will be six categories this year – best front garden, best rear garden, best courtyard, best assisted garden, limited space garden, best hanging basket and the container display. A new one – a Victorian/Edwardian theme – is being introduced.

Organisers Malvern Town Council have seen staggering responses to the competition in the past and are hoping this year it will be the same.

The competition will be judged by Mayor of Malvern, Coun Neil Morton, and volunteers from the Malvern in Bloom committee.

Judging starts in the week beginning June 24.

Participants will be notified of their exact judging date once all applications are in.

For more information and an application form email Lyndsey Davies at ldavies@malvern-tc.org.uk or call her on 01684 566667.
