THE CLASSIC tale Wind in the Willows is being performed at Priory Park in Malvern by the Coach House Theatre, writes Daisy Dillon.
The show will run from July 17 to 22 with performances at 6pm. There is also a matinee at 2.30pm on July 22.
The adaptation by Ameila Marriette is based of Kenneth Graeme’s story with Chris Bassett directing the show.
Chris said: “This is the first for all the players who have never before taken part in an open air production, but the cast of all ages have brought great energy to the performance.”
Extravagant props which will be used include a ‘working motor car’, a ‘caravan towed by a horse’ and a ‘boat with oars’.
Chris added: “We are particularly grateful to Malvern Town Council and Malvern District Council for their financial support.”
Admission is free for children under 14 and £16 for adults with a maximum of two free tickets per adult.
