A LEDBURY woman has been charged on three counts of giving poison to a young girl with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm.
Mary Kidson, 55, is due to appear at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 29. The charges follow a lengthy investigation by police officers in Hereford who have been working closely with Children’s Services and the local health authority.
Kidson has been on police bail while inquiries were ongoing and was initially arrested in March last year.
The charges relate to offences which are alleged to have taken place in Ledbury between December 2010 and March 2013.
