A WORCESTERSHIRE CCC cricketer has appeared in court charged with two counts of rape following an incident in April.
Alex Hepburn, formerly of Birmingham League Division One side Barnards Green, was charged on November 9 with the offence following an investigation by West Mercia Police into an incident on April 1.
Hepburn has been suspended on full pay by the New Road side pending further investigation.
He was granted unconditional bail and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, January 4.
