BARNARDS Green brought an end to Bromsgrove’s three-game winning run in Birmingham League Division One on Saturday.
Wicket-keeper Tom Hill top scored with 44 as Bromsgrove closed on 208-9 against Barnards Green with Worcestershire all-rounder George Rhodes taking 3-66.
An opening stand of 105 between Ryan Tongue (58) and Adam Wiffen (54) set up an easy five wicket win for Green with more than three overs to spare.
Victory moved Green to within eight points of Bromsgrove ahead of Saturday’s home clash against Shifnal.
