BARNARDS Green continued their push for promotion from Birmingham League Division One with a 22-run success over Tamworth.
The North End Lane side opted to bat after winning the toss, posting a below-par 185 all out in the 49th over.
Ryan Tongue (89) top scored while Josh Blunt (12) and Jonathan Dovey (39) were the only other players to reach double figures.
James Rudge (3-35) and Jacob Flower (3-33) were pick of the Tamworth bowlers.
In reply Green’s bowlers did the business with the ball as Tamworth were bowled out for 163 in the 46th over.
Dovey led the way with the ball, taking three wickets at the cost of 42 runs from his ten overs.
Green make the trip to Bridgnorth on Saturday.
