BARNARDS Green’s inconsistent run of Birmingham League Division One results continued last Saturday with a nine-wicket defeat at Tamworth.
Warwickshire teenager Liam Banks was the outstanding player for Tamworth, finishing with 4-30 as Green were dismissed for 153.
George Rhodes (38) and Oli Swift (37) were pick of the Green batsmen.
Banks then hit ten fours and five sixes as he completed an unbeaten 100 from 65 balls to ease Tamworth to 156-1 in the 26th over.
Green welcome Bridgnorth to North End Lane on Saturday.
