FIVE wickets from George Barrell guided Hanley Castle & Upton to a three-wicket victory over Malvern in the clash of the bottom two teams in Worcestershire County League Division Three.
Barrell returned with 5-67 from his 15 overs as Malvern were back in the pavilion for 198.
Max White (45), Rob Francis (42) and Jamie Williams (37) were pick of the batsmen for the visitors.
In reply Hanley battled to 199-7 to claim victory, thanks to 79 from Rory Mathews.
Hanley are on the road to Alvechurch on Saturday while Malvern visit Bromsgrove Thirds.
