MALVERN Town have discovered their play-off semi-final opponents after runners-up Portishead Town suffered a shock relegation.
The Hillsiders finished third in the Southern League Division One South table which would have set up a tie against Winchester City.
However, a regulatory issue regarding an FA decision led to an appeal by a then unnamed club involved in the play-offs.
With the appeal now heard, the FA has relegated Portishead owing to the club not meeting stadium requirements at Step Four.
The shock decision means Malvern will now play Bishops Cleeve in the play-offs at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
The game takes place on Wednesday, April 29 with kick-off at 7.45pm.
The other semi-final pits Winchester against Shaftesbury.
