MALVERN Town secured a fourth straight league win with a hard-fought 2-1 victory away at Mousehole.
Goals from Piers Walton and Yuri Quintas put the Hillsiders in command before Alex Cairo halved the deficit for the hosts at Trungle Parc.
And the result means Malvern sit third in the Southern League Division One South table, five points behind leaders Frome Town.
The Hillsiders broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when Walton finished smartly from the edge of the penalty area after the visitors countered quickly following a Mousehole corner.
And Malvern doubled their lead from another Mousehole corner in first-half injury time as Quintas finished on the rebound after Joe Bullock saw his initial effort parried.
Mousehole responded on 65 minutes when Cairo scrambled the ball into the net from a corner.
The home side pushed for an equaliser in the remaining minutes but the Hillsiders held firm to continue their winning run in the league.
Malvern are next in action against Didcot Town on Saturday, December 20 with kick-off at 3pm at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
