MALVERN Town have made goalkeeper Seth Locke the club’s first signing ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Locke joins the Hillsiders from fellow Southern League Division One South club Bristol Manor Farm.

The young goalkeeper spent two seasons with Bristol Manor Farm which included reaching the play-offs and a Gloucestershire Challenge Cup success.

Locke said: “I’m very excited to have signed ahead of the new season.

“I think after conversations with Hoops and Bevs, who really sold the club to me, there was only one place I wanted to play my football at next season.

“I really enjoyed learning about the club and how they do things and it’s something I’m very excited in becoming a part of.

“I like to think I fit the brief for a modern style of goalkeeper.

“Comfortable with the ball at my feet and I take a lot of pride in commanding my 18-yard box, alongside trying to keep the ball out of the back of my net.

“What I’ve always admired about Malvern is the changing room cohesion and culture.

“Being good mates with Charlie Johnson as well as knowing a few of the other players, I get a slight insight into what the boys are like.

“The atmosphere seems class and that sort of environment built by the management and players can really make a massive difference on the pitch as well.

“It is certainly something I really cannot wait to join in with.”

Locke previously played for Frome Town where he progressed from the club’s academy to the first team.
