MALVERN Town have completed the signing of versatile midfielder Ben Hammett as the Hillsiders look to strengthen their squad.
Hammett has worked with Malvern co-manager Stephen Cleal earlier in his career.
Malvern have won their last four Southern League Division One South matches.
Hammett said: “[I am] really pleased to have signed here. After moving back to the area, I knew this was the right the club for me.
“[This is] a tight knit group and in fantastic form. I’m looking forward to do anything I can to help the club finish as high as possible this season.”
Cleal added: “Ben is a good lad with a lot of experience and ability. He can play a couple of positions and will be a great asset for the squad.
“Having managed him at Cinderford, Ben joining Malvern was a good fit for both club and player.”
Hammett is available for selection for Malvern’s trip to Bideford AFC this weekend.
