MALVERN Town surrendered a first-half lead as the Hillsiders started the New Year with a 4-1 defeat at Bishops Cleeve.
The visitors took the lead through Joe Bullock’s goal just before the half-hour mark only for the home side to equalise before the break at Kayte Lane.
However, Bishops Cleeve completed the turnaround early in the second half before scoring two goals in injury time to add some gloss to the scoreline.
The result means the Hillsiders sit 14th in the Southern League Division One South table.
Malvern are next in action against Mousehole on Saturday, January 4 with kick-off at 3pm at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
