ROB FRANCIS hit an unbeaten century to guide Malvern to just their second Worcestershire County League Division Three win of the season as they downed Alvechurch & Hopwood by one wicket.
A&H had set an imposing target of 310 all out, thanks to some big hitting from Edd Rogers (92), Matt Hayward (63) and Paul Caines (48) as well as 43 extras.
However, Francis was in fine form as his 118 not out fired the Ramblers 314-9 with an over to spare.
