LEWIS HOOPER bagged five wickets for Rushwick who boosted their hopes of claiming promotion from Worcestershire County League Division Three with a resounding seven-wicket victory over Alvechurch & Hopwood.
Hooper returned with 5-69 as A&H were bowled out for 211 after 47 overs.
Clive Jones also chipped in with 4-52 while Simon Bowron (81) top scored for A&H.
Alistair Robb (50no) and Paul Wyatt (53) then helped Rushwick ease to 212-3 in reply.
Second-placed Rushwick travel to fourth-placed Netherton on Saturday.
