KEMPSEY were back on the losing trail on Saturday after they were comfortably beaten by eight wickets at Old Vigornians.
Only Benjamin Ware (59), Joshua Jones (26) and Joe Worthington (21) broke into double figures for Kempsey who were all out for 132 in the 35th over.
Spinners Alex Parker (3-34) and teenager Ed Burgoyne (3-40) did the damage with the ball.
After falling to 60-2 in reply Vigornians strolled to 133-2 inside 30 overs, thanks to a 73-run partnership between Osman Fiaz (43 not out) and Nick Major (43no).
Kempsey play host to Oldswinford & Stourbridge Social on Saturday.
