Kempsey emphatically beaten by ten wickets by Oldswinford & Stourbridge Social

KEMPSEY are finding Worcestershire County League Division Two life tough going after crashing to a ten-wicket defeat to Oldswinford & Stourbridge Social.

After being put into bat Kempsey slumped from 47-2 to 99 all out with only Chris Jones (32), Benjamin Ware (22) and Joshua Jones (18) top scoring for the visitors.

Oldswinford skipper Thomas Blunt then smashed an unbeaten 84 off 57 balls as the hosts eased to 100 without loss in the 18th over.

Kempsey entertain Bartestree & Lugwardine on Saturday.
