MALVERN will be looking to end their 2016/17 Midlands Two West (South) campaign with a sixth successive win when they host Nuneaton Old Edwardians at Spring Lane on Saturday.
Malvern head into the clash as the league’s form side having risen to fifth in the standings – four places and 21 points above their weekend opponents.
In their last outing, Malvern edged to a 34-29 win over Spartans which saw them cement fifth place with a game to spare, whilst Nuneaton Old Edwardians brushed aside tenth placed Leamington 31-0.
The last time the two sides met was in the season’s curtain-raiser in September and it was the Warwickshire team who claimed a narrow 15-13 win at Weddington Road.
