Malvern Town itching to resume league campaign

Craig Gibbons 16th Mar, 2018

FRUSTRATED Malvern Town will hope to get some minutes under their belts this weekend when they make the trip to Pegasus Juniors.

The West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division leaders have not played a game since February 24 after Saturday’s fixture at fourth-placed Wolverhampton Sporting Community was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Hillsiders will be keen to get back into action on Saturday when they travel to Herefordshire side Pegasus who lie 16th in the table.

The previous meeting at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium in November ended in a comfortable 3-0 victory for Les Jones’ Malvern thanks to goals from Kirk Layton, Matthew Turner and Adam Sauntson.
