MALVERN Town are in for a mouth-watering West Midlands Premier Division clash this weekend when they play host to promotion hopefuls Tividale.
The Black Country outfit, who sit second in the table, make the trip to the HDAnywhere Community Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) for what will be a keenly-fought contest.
The Hillsiders head into the clash on the back of a five-game unbeaten league run, a run of form which has seen them bag ten goals in their last two away games (Dudley Town and Dudley Sports).
As for Tividale, they have lost just one of their last nine league games to date, including a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Wolverhampton Casuals on Tuesday night.
Malvern joint-boss Lee Hooper said: “It’s a good time for us to face them as things are really starting to click into place for us.
“The lads are playing with plenty of confidence and belief.
“Everyone is buying in to what we are trying to achieve here and it’s good to see our hard work starting to pay off in terms of results.
“It’s all about momentum now and putting the pressure on those teams above us, of which Tividale are one.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge which stands before us on Saturday.
“We’re in a good place and hopefully we can continue where we left off last weekend against Dudley Sports.”
