LIAM PROBERT hit an unbeaten half century for Rushwick who were comfortably beaten by 74 runs by Martley in Worcestershire County League Division Three.
Martley chose to bat after winning the toss where the posted an imposing score of 319-7 from their 50 overs.
Opener James Ganderton led the way with a match-defining 119 while Daniel Johnson finished unbeaten on 60.
Unfortunately the score proved to big for Rushwick who were bowled out for 245 in the 49th over.
Lower order batsman Probert top scored with an unbeaten 52 while Ganderton (4-59) did the damage with the ball.
Rushwick entertain Hanley Castle & Upton on Saturday.
