Craig Gibbons 23rd Jul, 2018

COLWALL boosted their hopes of clambering away from the Worcestershire County League Division One drop zone with a four-wicket victory over relegation-threatened Pedmore.

In a rain-reduced encounter, Pedmore were put into bat after losing the toss where they posted 146-9 from 25.5 overs.

Calum White (50) top scored while Fergus Cameron (3-20) was pick of the Colwall bowlers.

Colwall’s reply was far from emphatic but an unbeaten 38 from Joseph Blight as well as 35 extras guided the visitors to 147-6 to claim victory.

Up next for Colwall is a home clash against league leaders Stourport.
