New kit is signal of Town's intent say owners

MALVERN Town have officially unveiled their new kit as work continues to breathe new life into the club.

The claret and blue strip, which will be worn by Town’s first team and reserves this season, has been designed by Joshila Sports after the West Midlands Regional League outfit agreed a three-year deal with the Birmingham-based manufacturer.

New owners Chris Pinder and Ted Grizzell promised to “reboot” the club when they arrived at the Langland Stadium in September.

And the pair were looking forward to seeing both players and supporters wearing the new merchandise, which also includes tracksuits, training kit and other team-wear.

Pinder said: “As part of our drive to inject more professionalism into the MTFC operation, this is a good standard league and it’s crucial that the players look the part and feel that they are provided with the quality of kit that they deserve.”

Grizzell added: “I’d love to see people around the town wearing MTFC team-wear, visually supporting their local side, it would mean a lot to us and the players.”

Malvern’s online club shop has also been launched, while Pinder has launched a scheme whereby fans can gain free entry into a home game if they wearing a replica shirt, which costs between £15 and £20.
