ALEX Coltman, from Malvern, finished an impressive third at the British Paragliding Championships held in Saint-André-les-Alpes, France.
The Malvern resident is a member of the Malvern Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club and has more than 25 years of flying experience.
The British Paragliding Championships saw 118 pilots enter the competition.

The entire field start at a set time with pilots using thermals to gain altitude and can glide at speeds in excess of 70kmh to fly through a series of defined turn points.
Pilots then race at full speed into the goal field.
Coltman previously held British records and was a United Kingdom team member.
Competitors travel hundreds of miles to take off from the Malvern Hills.
Coltman said: “Living within walking distance of the Malvern Hills take-off has really helped me improve my flying.”
