MALVERN RUGBY’s young stars will look to secure a place in the North Midlands Colts Final later today (Sunday).
Malvern Colts travel to Shropshire side Church Stretton (2pm KO) in one of the tournament’s semi-final matches.
After winning the Division 2 title in emphatic fashion, Malvern’s young guns stand just two wins away from achieving a league and cup double this season.
Malvern know Church Stretton well, having beaten them once in the National Cup at home and drawn with them in the league at Church Stretton. They are the only team who have prevented Malvern having a 10 per cent record in their successful Division 2 campaign.
A massive 78-17 home win last month against Stourbridge got Malvern through to the last four.
The other semi-final sees Hereford play their local Neighbours Luctonians in an all Herefordshire match.
